Rank-and-file FBI agents are accusing the Biden administration of exaggerating the threat of White supremacists and pressuring agents to cook up domestic terrorist cases involving racist extremists. 

Current and former FBI agents told The Washington Times that the perceived White supremacist threat is overblown by the administration. They said top bureau officials are pressuring FBI agents to create domestic terrorist cases and tag people as White supremacists to meet internal metrics.

Extremist GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.) wondered in a weekend interview why people are picking on homicidal white supremacists.

She said that there are so many other criminals to complain about instead — like undocumented immigrants. She also said people should be talking about the “Asian man” who killed a member of a California church last week, and the “Black man” who drove his car into Wisconsin shoppers last year.

She added, incongruously, that it “shouldn’t be about race.”

President Joe Biden connected the racist mass shooting in Buffalo on Saturday to the protests of Trump supporters on January 6.

The president cited January 6th riots after calling all Americans to “reject white supremacy” because they were making the country look bad.

“We can’t allow them to distort America. The real America,” Biden said, referring to the white supremacists. “We can’t allow them to destroy the soul of the nation.”

Biden then immediately referred to January 6th.

President Joe Biden on Tuesday called the deadly supermarket shooting in Buffalo, N.Y. an act of terror and excoriated the white supremacist ideology that inspired the alleged gunman, but he stopped short of announcing a political agenda in the massacre’s aftermath.

“What happened here is simple and straightforward: terrorism,” Biden said during a visit to Buffalo. “Terrorism. Domestic terrorism. Violence inflicted in the service of hate, and a vicious thirst for power that defines one group of people being inherently inferior to any other group.”

President Biden strongly condemned racist conspiracy theories in a speech Tuesday after visiting Tops Friendly Markets grocery store, the site of a mass shooting in Buffalo, N.Y., where 10 people were killed in an alleged hate crime over the weekend.

Mr. Biden choked back tears as he named the victims of the shooting. “In America, evil will not win, I promise you; hate will not prevail, and white supremacy will not have the last word,” he said.

President Joe Biden went to a city in New York on May 17, visiting where 10 people were gunned down over the weekend.

Biden, joined by First Lady Jill Biden, went to the Tops Market Memorial before meeting with families of those who were killed, law enforcement officers, and others at the Delavan Grider Community Center.

In a speech after the meeting, the president described the final moments of some of the dead, including Celestine Chaney, 65, a brain cancer survivor who went to Tops to buy strawberries to make her favorite shortcake.

President Biden on Tuesday called white supremacy a “poison” in the U.S. and called on Americans to reject the racist white “replacement theory” believed to have inspired the gunman behind the tragic Buffalo shooting.

“I call on all Americans to reject the lie,” Biden said in emotional remarks from Buffalo Tuesday afternoon. ”I condemn those who spread the lie for power, for political gain and for profit.”

“We need to say as clearly and forcefully as we can that the ideology of white supremacy has no place in America,” Biden said. “None.”

At least 10 people were killed and three more wounded Saturday after a gunman opened fire in a Buffalo, N.Y., supermarket in a mass shooting law-enforcement officials said they are investigating as a racially motivated hate crime.

Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia said the suspect, an 18-year-old white male, drove to the Tops Friendly Markets store from out of town. He was heavily armed and wearing tactical gear and a helmet, Mr. Gramaglia said at a news conference.

Ten people were killed and three others injured in what authorities have described as a “racially-motivated” shooting at a Buffalo, New York, supermarket on Saturday.

Police arrested Payton Gendron, an 18-year-old white male, after he ― armed with an assault rifle and wearing a tactical vest ― opened fire outside and inside the Tops Friendly Market. The market is in a predominately Black neighborhood, about 3 miles north of downtown Buffalo.

At a press conference later Saturday, Erie County Sheriff John Garcia called the shooting a hate crime.

Ten people were killed and three more wounded in a shooting at a supermarket in Buffalo, N.Y., on Saturday, with the FBI saying it will investigate the shooting as a hate crime.

The suspect, an 18-year-old white male, arrived at a Tops Friendly Market store “heavily armed,” Buffalo Police commissioner Joseph Gramaglia told reporters at a press conference. Eleven of the victims of the shooting were black.

The suspect pleaded not-guilty to murder charges in court later on Saturday.
