The founder of a women-only gym has found herself at the center of a social media storm—with both critics and supporters—after she walked-back her initial plans to include trans-female clients.

Natalee Barnett, a 25-year-old fitness influencer from the U.K. with hundreds of thousands of followers across various platforms online, has been updating her "nataleebfitness" fans for years about her plan to open her own gym. She is currently preparing to open a venue in London called "The Girls Spot" catering specifically for women.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom refuses to protect women’s sports just days after he claimed it was ā€œunfairā€ for men to play in women’s sports.

In a podcast featuring Turning Point founder Charlie Kirk, Newsom said men in women’s sports are ā€œunfairā€ but did not answer Kirk’s question as to whether men should be prohibited.

Newsom then suggested that there needs to be a way to balance fairness with the mental health of these young men, otherwise they might ā€œcommit suicide.ā€

ā€œThere’s also a humility and a grace...

In an unprecedented move to funnel more public tax dollars toward groups that oppose abortion, Republican lawmakers in Missouri are advancing a plan to allow residents to donate to pregnancy resource centers instead of paying any state income taxes.

The proposal would establish a 100% tax credit, up from 70%, and a $50,000 annual cap per taxpayer. The result: Nearly all Missouri households — except those with the highest incomes — could fully satisfy their state tax bill by redirecting their payment from the state to pregnancy centers.

Schools in Philadelphia will continue allowing transgender athletes to play in girls sports even after the state of Pennsylvania announced it would comply with President Donald Trump's "No Men in Women's Sports" executive order.

The School District of Philadelphia announced in a statement provided to Fox News Digital Tuesday it will continue following its previous policy that enables transgender inclusion.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on Thursday announced he is suing the Biden administration over a federal contraception program that provides teens birth control without requiring parental consent. The Title X program has long been the only way minors in Texas can access confidential contraception, but since a court ruling in 2022, Texas providers have been required to get parental sign-off.

Here’s what you need to know

Comments Sen. JD Vance made in 2021 about ā€œviolentā€ marriages circulated online after former President Donald Trump announced he chose the Ohio Republican as his running mate in the 2024 election.

Vice reported on his remarks, which Vance made at an event that took place at Pacifica Christian High School in Southern California. Vance faced backlash after the report came out, but previously said his comments had been misconstrued.

A post shared on X claims Project 2025 called for women to carry ā€œperiod passportsā€ that track their menstrual cycle.

Verdict: False

There is no evidence that Project 2025 is calling for ā€œperiod passports.ā€

Fact Check:

President Joe Biden has increased his attacks on Project 2025, which is headed by the Heritage Foundation, while former President Donald Trump has distanced himself from it, according to The Associated Press.

The Supreme Court mistakenly posted a ruling to its website on Wednesday for a pending abortion-related decision.

Why it matters: An early version of a ruling in a reproductive rights case has now been released twice in two years.

A leaked draft of the court's landmark decision to overturn Roe v. Wade was obtained by Politico weeks before the opinion was announced in June 2022.

The leaked document and the final ruling in that case were substantially the same.

In an apparent case of premature opinionation, the Supreme Court briefly posted a decision in an Idaho case centered on emergency abortions Wednesday, before quickly scrubbing it from its website.

The ruling would have affirmed a lower court injunction that allows abortions in medical emergencies to proceed in the Gem State, according to Bloomberg, which caught the inadvertent filing.

A Supreme Court spokesperson told The Post that an opinion in the combined cases of Moyle v. United States and Idaho v. United States ā€œhas not been released.ā€
