A judge in New York ordered President Donald Trump to pay $2 million in damages to a group of nonprofit organizations after misusing Trump Foundation funds. The settlement, which was announced Wednesday but finalized in October, saw Trump admit to misusing funds and agree on limitations for future charity-related work; the Trump Foundation shut down in Dec. 2018.
