Newt Gingrich, the former US House speaker and presidential hopeful, said a section of his own Republican party was ā€œrabidā€ over immigration and predicted Donald Trump’s suggestion that he could deport documented people as well as millions of undocumented people will not come to pass.

ā€œI’d be very surprised if you see any significant effort to change the game for people who are here legally,ā€ Gingrich said, weeks before Trump’s return to the White House. ā€œI just think there’s a very small faction of the party that’s rabid about this.ā€

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, R-Ga., proclaimed on Sunday the eight House Republicans who voted to oust former Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., "unleashed furies" in the GOP conference.

"Well, right now, [the House] can't govern," Gingrich told "Fox News Sunday."

"And I think that the eight people who betrayed the conference and joined the Democrats to defeat the 96% of the conference unleashed furies that I don't think they'd even dreamed of, because it gave every person the right to be equally destructive and equally angry."

ā€œWhen the eagles are silent, the parrots begin to jabberā€ ― Winston Churchill Since the dawn of the Republic, conservative white men have fought to preserve their iron grip on the nation’s wealth and power. They once called themselves Democrats. Today, they find their home in the GOP. They have paid lip service to the women and minorities who give them a superficially broader appeal. But they remain dedicated to the principle that America is a white man’s country — as the Bible demanded. Until the 1990s, they maintained the...

In a Tuesday, October 3 op-ed published by The Washington Post, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R- GA) calls on Republicans to immediately remove United States Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) following his motion to remove House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA). Gingrich, who served as House Speaker from 1995-1999, writes "Gaetz should be swiftly defeated, and then he should be expelled from the House Republican Conference. House Republicans have far more important things to do than entertain one member’s ego." The former Georgia congressman points out that during his four years...

Newt Gingrich, a longtime Republican Party elder and former Speaker of the House, is calling on the House GOP to expel Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) from their conference over his efforts to team up with House Democrats to oust Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA). In a column for the Washington Post, Gingrich minced no words, leading with the assertion that Gaetz ā€œis an anti-Republican who has become actively destructive to the conservative movement.ā€ ā€œSome behavior crosses the line — and when it does, there has to be consequences,ā€ argued Gingrich. He...

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is sounding the alarm on Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen's "fantasyland" trip to China, arguing that the president's controversial foreign policy strategy has made the Biden White House the "most corrupt" administration in history.

Yellen's trip to Beijing was the Biden administration’s second high-level visit to China in recent weeks, with efforts aimed at relieving tensions between the two nations.

As he worked to unleash the Republican Revolution, Newt Gingrich famously crafted a lexicon to disparage Democrats. Among his favorite 1990s buzzwords: corrupt, pathetic, and sick. With C-SPAN cameras newly installed in the House, he spoke to an empty chamber, believing his words would find an audience of conservatives who wanted to ā€œspeak like Newt.ā€ He packaged this new vocabulary in a memo titled ā€œLanguage: A Key Mechanism of Control,ā€ and he baited Democratic leaders as pro-communist, un-American traitors in business suits.

"Republicans must learn to quit underestimating President Joe Biden," says former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who admits he's no fan of Biden or his policies.

"Like most Americans, I do not approve of the job he is doing," Gingrich wrote on his Gringrich360 blog this week:

That’s the word from prominent Republican Newt Gingrich. In a commentary posted on his Gingich 360 website, the former House of Representatives speaker said that while he doesn’t approve of the job that President Biden is doing and that he ā€œdeeplyā€ opposes his policies, the conservative hostility to the Biden administration has blinded ā€œus to just how effective Biden has been on his terms.ā€
