A special grand jury recommended last year that Atlanta’s district attorney charge three current and former US senators for allegedly aiding former President Donald Trump’s attempts to reverse his 2020 election loss.

The panel urged Fulton County DA Fani Willis to indict Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and former Sens. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) and David Perdue R-Ga.), according to its 28-page report, released Friday.

After months under seal, a report by the Georgia special grand jury that investigated whether any charges should be brought against former President Trump and a throng of co-defendants was released Friday. 

The report names 39 individuals whose actions following the 2020 presidential election were investigated over an alleged effort to subvert the state’s election results and keep Trump in the White House.

A Georgia special grand jury recommended charges against one current and two former US senators, who prosecutors did not ultimately indict.

The panel was investigating Donald Trump's alleged efforts to reverse election results in the state.

The jury had voted to recommend indictments against former Georgia senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue and South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham.None were charged by District Attorney Fani Willis last month.

Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) will object to the presidential election results in at least one state when Congress convenes to certify the Electoral College in favor of President-elect Joe Biden on Wednesday.

“Elections are the bedrock of our democracy and the American people deserve to be 100% confident in our election systems and its outcomes. But right now, tens of millions of Americans have real concerns about the way in which the November Presidential election was conducted—and I share their concerns,” Loeffler said in a Monday statement first obtained by Fox News.

Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler, who will fight to retain her seat during a Georgia runoff election in January, donated large portions of her Senate salary to anti-abortion and anti-LGBTQ rights organizations.

Among these organizations are several “crisis pregnancy centers” that often pose as abortion clinics in order to dissuade people from getting the procedure, and an adoption agency that has a strong anti-LGBTQ ethos and bans same-sex couples from using it.

The runoff elections for Georgia's two U.S. Senate seats are continuing to draw big national names Friday, as Sen. Rick Scott is set to appear at a rally in Forsyth County supporting Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler.

Scott, R-Fla., in the 3 p.m. event will be the second Florida senator this week to stump for his neighbors to the north after Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., appeared at a packed event with Loeffler and Perdue's wife, Bonnie, on Wednesday.
