Shower lovers, rejoice! Donald Trump’s latest executive order is for you.

While the president has signed a flurry of executive actions beginning just hours after he was sworn in on Inauguration Day dealing with major issues like border security, radical gender ideology, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices, there have been some smaller – though no less impactful – policy changes as well.

Utah will become the first state to ban fluoride in public drinking water, despite widespread opposition from dentists and national health organizations.

Republican Gov. Spencer Cox said he would sign legislation that bars cities and communities from deciding whether to add the mineral to their water systems.

A Portuguese container ship has collided with a U.S.-flagged oil tanker while the tanker was anchored in the North Sea, on the eastern coast of England, with both ships catching on fire, according to officials.

"HM Coastguard is currently co-ordinating the emergency response to reports of a collision between a tanker and cargo vessel off the coast of East Yorkshire resulting in fires aboard both vessels," the U.K. coast guard said in a statement.

The justices sided with San Francisco, finding 5–4 that the EPA violated the Clean Water Act. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5–4 on March 4 that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) wastewater discharge permitting system violates federal law. Justice Amy Coney Barrett wrote a dissenting opinion that was joined by Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, and Ketanji Brown Jackson. The nation’s highest court ruled that the EPA must provide specific effluent limitations to wastewater facilities and the governmental bodies that operate them.

Google said Monday it will change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to ā€œGulf of Americaā€ in Google Maps after the Trump administration updates its ā€œofficial government sources.ā€

The company also said it will start using the name ā€œMount McKinleyā€ for the mountain in Alaska currently called Denali.

Last week, President Donald Trump signed executive actions that included an order to make the name changes on official maps and federal communications.

President Donald Trump claimed Monday night that the military entered California and "turned on the water," but state water officials contend that the president's claim is false.

"The United States Military just entered the Great State of California and, under Emergency Powers, TURNED ON THE WATER flowing abundantly from the Pacific Northwest, and beyond," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

"The days of putting a Fake Environmental argument, over the PEOPLE, are OVER. Enjoy the water, California!!!" he added.

Over the past two years, an increasingly confident and belligerent China has thrust its South China Sea aggression into overdrive, fixating on the Philippines as its primary target. Manila now faces what amounts to a large-scale maritime occupation of its internationally recognized exclusive economic zone by a hostile imperial power.
