Outlets on the left were quick to call the debate a win for Harris, praising her effective rhetorical strategies and attacks against Trump. Many outlets on the right noted the apparent bias of the moderators, pointing out a stark lack of fact-checking and cross-examination of Harris’ statements when compared to Trump’s, but also criticized Trump for his overall performance.

After Monday’s Supreme Court ruling vacating a lower court ruling that had allowed Texas to place razor wire along the U.S.-Mexico border without inference from the Biden Border Patrol, the flagship morning and evening newscasts on ABC and NBC had moved on from the border showdown, even as tensions rose with Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX) remaining resolute in having Texas Department of Public Safety and National Guard defend the porous border.

It had been over two months since eight Americans were taken hostage by Hamas on October 7, and President Biden had only gotten around to meeting with their families on Wednesday. Of course, this long overdue sit-down was lauded by the liberal sycophants at ABC’s Good Morning America on Thursday. Meanwhile, at the same time, they were pushing for America to abandon Israel in their war against genocidal terrorists.

ABC’s chief White House correspondent and Biden’s chief apple polisher Mary Bruce touted the President’s late meeting with the families:

Thursday morning marked the first official House committee hearing on the impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden. But on the network morning news shows, CBS Mornings refused to preview it while ABC’s Good Morning America lost its mind about the inquiry occurring “absent evidence,” of Biden wrongdoing with no “direct, concrete evidence” and “[n]o bank account, money transfer, overt act” tying Joe to his son’s life of ruin.

As part of its reporting on the devastating wildfires in Hawaii, ABC News published an article Tuesday with the headline “Why climate change can’t be blamed for the Maui wildfires.”

That headline, which has now been edited to add a hedging “entirely” after “blamed,” topped a story pointing out the lack of attribution studies tying climate change to the wildfires.

Reporter Emily Atkin, who runs the climate crisis-focused newsletter Heated, went straight to the article’s sources to ask if the headline phrasing accurately reflected their comments. It didn’t.

When it comes to elections, the media should be pro-debate, especially when no votes have officially been cast, but the post-non Trump debate coverage on Thursday’s Good Morning America on ABC and CBS Mornings dismissed the whole thing as a “fantasy land” that resembled a “job interview” in which the candidate has already been selected.

It’s always interesting to watch the liberal media wake up and arrive on the scene surprised after many in the public had to bear witness to something terrible happening in their communities constantly. Such was the case on the Thursday edition of ABC’s Good Morning America where chief business correspondent Rebecca Jarvis and the rest of the cast gawked at national brands shutting down stores in major U.S. cities because of out-of-control shoplifting and theft happening across the county.

ABC & CBS were in full meltdown mode on Thursday evening as their flagship evening newscasts ABC's World News Tonight and CBS Evening News acted like the end of the world was upon us if the U.S. debt ceiling wasn't raised without spending cuts, and focused their coverage on Republican demands instead of the intransigence of the Biden regime.
