President Joe Biden's win in New Hampshire, despite not appearing on the ballot and facing low polling numbers, shows that Democrats are energized around their presumptive 2024 nominee, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren told Newsweek. While Biden has a virtual lock on his party's nomination heading into the election, he faced the possibility of defeat in New Hampshire because the Democratic National Committee voted in 2022 to move its first-in-the-nation primary from the Granite State to the more racially diverse South Carolina.

Hi there OnPolitics readers! Poll after poll shows Americans don’t really want a 2020 rematch between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump. But that didn’t stop both Biden and Trump from winning the New Hampshire primary. The USA TODAY Network’s Margie Cullen is here to explain how Biden defeated his Democratic challengers without even technically being on the ballot. ā†©ļøWait, did Biden skip the New Hampshire primary? Sort of. He wasn’t on the ballot because of a dispute between the Democratic National Committee and New Hampshire state officials....

President Joe Biden handily won the Democratic presidential primary in New Hampshire on Tuesday, despite not being on the ballot. Two-thirds of all voters in the contest wrote in his name as of Wednesday afternoon, with votes still being counted, and he won every community that's reported results — with one exception. Rep. Dean Phillips, of Minnesota, managed to eke out a win in Hill, a town of about 1,100 people. Phillips had 30 votes to Biden's 29, with no further votes expected to be counted. Democrat Dean Phillips has...

MANCHESTER- For all the rumblings that Democratic voters wanted an alternative candidate to President Joe Biden, he won the New Hampshire primary even without appearing on the ballot. Author Marianne Williamson and Minnesota congressman Dean Phillips were the most well-known of the 21 names on the Democratic ballot. Others included Brooklyn's Paperboy Joy Prince, a non-binary activist who centered their campaign around love, and Vermin Supreme, a performer who wears a large black boot on his head. But on primary night, there were no surprises, and the election was soon...

Joe Biden received over 54,000 votes in New Hampshire last night as a WRITE IN candidate in a state with a population of 1.4 million. Why are we not seeing media reports touting this amazing performance? New Hampshire voters showed up to support Joe Biden last night even though the national Democratic Party did not sanction the primary and will award no convention delegates. This shows people will show up to vote for Biden even when his name is not on the ballot. Real support shown by actual voters for...

Exit polls in the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday showed a stark disparity between supporters of former President Trump and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley on how they perceive the 2020 election results. About 80 percent of Trump voters said they don’t believe President Biden won the 2020 election, according to a CNN exit poll, while 83 percent of Haley voters said he did. The exit poll exemplifies Trump’s strong pull among the most conservative voters, while Haley has relied on more moderates for her White House bid. Trump won...

President Joe Biden's write-in campaign in New Hampshire paid off as he sailed to victory in the primary election despite not appearing on the ballot. Both CNN and Fox News called New Hampshire's Democratic primary for Biden at about 8 p.m. Tuesday. He defeated Minnesota Representative Dean Phillips and author Marianne Williamson with his write-in campaign, which his supporters in New Hampshire launched for him after he declined to appear on the state's ballot over a dispute about its placement in the primary schedule. Last year, the Democratic National Committee...

President Biden was projected to win the Democratic primary in New Hampshire Tuesday, even with his name not being on the ballot in the Granite State. NBC News and CNN projected his victory just after the polls closed at 8 p.m. The 81-year-old commander-in-chief last appeared in New Hampshire in April 2022, and forewent campaigning in the state after the Democratic National Committee put South Carolina first on the voting calendar. But local Democrats ignored the move and went ahead with the contest. A wide-ranging write-in campaign mounted over the...

President Joe Biden has prevailed in New Hampshireā€˜s unsanctioned 2024 Democratic primary after a campaign by his supporters to write his name on ballots in the state. Biden, an incumbent president who currently has more primary challengers than former President Donald Trump, won the Democratic primary with 73.7% of the vote, according to the Associated Press on Tuesday. Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN) and author Marianne Williamson received 21.2% and 4.5% of the vote, respectively. The White House and Biden’s campaign have tiptoed around the prospect of a political embarrassment for...
