Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem was reportedly robbed while eating dinner in Washington, DC on Sunday evening.

CNN reported that Noem acknowledged being robbed.

Noem, who was asked about the theft at the White House Easter Egg Roll, acknowledged the incident and said the matter has not been resolved.

The Secret Service, which provides security for Noem, reviewed security camera footage at the restaurant and saw an unknown white male wearing a medical mask steal her bag and leave the restaurant, a law enforcement source said.

Some supporters of President Donald Trump's Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement have reacted with fury after Karmelo Anthony, who is accused of murdering fellow high school student Austin Metcalf, was able to bond out after a judge on Monday reduced his bond from $1 million to $250,000.

The family of Karmelo Anthony, who has been charged in the stabbing death of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf, plans to use crowdsourced funds raised for Anthony's defense to move and hire security. They say this is necessary after facing racist threats.

Anthony, who faces first degree murder charges, was in court on Monday, where he was released on $250,000 bond, a reduction of the original $1 million set by the judge. Anthony was also put on house arrest pending trial. Judge Angela Tucker said that "they've never had the security issues they've faced with this case."

Pro-life activist Livia Tossici-Bolt was convicted earlier this month for standing outside an abortion clinic with a sign reading: ‘Here to talk, if you want.’ She was fined £20,000 for twice breaching the clinic’s ‘buffer zone’.

An alleged sushi-slinging spy is in ICE custody. 

Ming Xi Zhang, known as “Sushi John,”  the 61-year-old owner of Ya Ya Noodles in Montgomery Township, NJ, was arrested March 24 by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Newark.

Zhang was convicted in April 2024 of acting as an unregistered agent of the Chinese government and sentenced to three years’ probation. In May 2021, he pleaded guilty to having served as an agent of China in 2016 without notifying the U.S. Attorney General.

Sean “Diddy” Combs pleaded not guilty Monday to additional criminal counts brought forth in a new federal indictment charging the disgraced rapper under five counts, including racketeering and sex trafficking. 

Combs appeared in a New York courtroom to formally enter his plea weeks ahead of his federal criminal trial which is set to begin with jury selection on May 5, Reuters reported.

President Donald Trump told El Salvador President Nayib Bukele that “homegrown” criminals are next on the list of people he plans to deport to the country’s supermax prison.

President Trump floated sending American citizens to Salvadoran prisons during a conversation with the Central American country’s leader on Monday — suggesting he build “five more” facilities to make room.

“Home-growns are next. The home-growns. You gotta build about five more places,” Trump told President Nayib Bukele in the Oval Office, prompting laughter from administration officials seated nearby.
