Electric truck maker Nikola eyeing sale: report

Why it matters: Nikola remains one of the only U.S. electric truck makers that's managed to deliver semis to customers.

Nikola Corp. stock falls Tuesday, underperforms market

Shares of Nikola Corp. NKLA slid 9.33% to $1.22 Tuesday, on what proved to be an all-around positive trading session for the stock market, with the NASDAQ Composite Index COMP rising 0.64% to 19,756.78 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA rising 1.24% to 44,025.81.

Nikola Corp. closed 96.48% short of its 52-week high of $34.50, which the company achieved on April 1st.
