Original voice actor for iconic ‘Star Wars’ character dead at 94
Actor Clive Revill, who performed the original voice of Emperor Palpatine in the Star Wars movie franchise has died. According to TMZ, Revill died earlier this month at the age of 94, following a battle with dementia. Revill provided the voice for the evil Palpatine in “Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back” which was released in 1980. Palpatine was physically played by another actor in the film. Revill’s voice was replaced in subsequent Star Wars movies and in the rereleases of “The Empire Strikes Back” over the years....
