Joe Biden is the 46th President of the United States.

Biden is a candidate in the 2024 presidential election. He is running for reelection as a Democrat.

Biden represented Delaware in the United States Senate from 1973 to 2009. He ran for the Democratic nomination in the 2008 election, losing to Barack Obama. Former President Joe Biden broke his three-month silence Tuesday evening, addressing Social Security in his first public speech since President Trump took office.

Biden addressed a gathering of advocates for disabled people in Chicago, accusing Trump and Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency of trying to ā€œdismantleā€ Social Security.

Former President Joe Biden took shots at the Trump administration's Social Security policies in his first major speech since leaving the White House on Tuesday evening.

"Seriously, people are now genuinely concerned for the first time in history, for the first and only time in history, that Social Security benefits may be delayed or interrupted," Biden said from the Advocates, Counselors and Representatives for the Disabled (ACRD) conference in Chicago on Tuesday evening.

Former President Biden is set to deliver his first public address since leaving the White House, speaking at the national conference of Advocates, Counselors and Representatives for the Disabled (ACRD) in Chicago on Tuesday, according to a release from the organization.

Biden will headline the event, which is set to focus on rallying bipartisan support for Social Security.

President Biden’s parting shot to democratic norms was announced Monday at 11:38 a.m., or 22 minutes before his constitutional term ended at high noon. Citing ā€œunrelenting attacksā€ on his family, Mr. Biden issued pre-emptive, unconditional pardons for his siblings and their spouses, blanket immunity for any ā€œnonviolent offensesā€ they might have committed since 2014.
