
On Tuesday at 7:26 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning in effect until 8 p.m. for DeKalb and Jackson counties. "At 7:26 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Pisgah, or 12 miles east of Scottsboro, moving east at 25 mph," says the weather service.
