The Miami Herald was founded in 1903 and is one of the largest newspapers in Florida. It is currently owned by the McClatchy Company, a large publishing company based in Sacramento, California. According to the Miami Herald's website, it has regular readers in South Florida, the Caribbean and Latin America and circulates in a very culturally diverse region. In 2013, the Miami Herald moved it's headquarters to Doral, Florida, a city a few miles west of Miami.

Two men in their 30s are accused of raping a 14-year-old boy in a sauna on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship headed for PortMiami.
