2020 presidential candidate Andrew Yang gained more Twitter followers following Wednesday night's presidential debate than any other candidate.
Yang, who was an entrepreneur prior to declaring his candidacy, gained 10,486 followers after the debate, taking his total following to approximately 572,600. He was the only candidate to gain more than 10,000 followers.
Fellow presidential long-shot Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii received the second most Twitter followers in the aftermath of the debate with 8,616, bringing her total following to approximately 473,500.
