In a 2013 interview with Reason Magazine, Will explained that over time, he has been leaning more toward the Libertarian Party. His lack of a specific party identification is seen in the AllSides community feedback, where over 130 people agree with the 'right' rating, however just over 140 rated him 'lean right,' as of July 2017.
