
U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg on Monday kicked off construction of a passenger rail line that will link the capitals of Virginia and North Carolina. Buttigieg took part in a groundbreaking ceremony in Raleigh for a bridge that will carry a roadway over a railroad line.
