As several newspapers with a history of endorsements have chosen not to endorse a presidential candidate in 2024, some readers have taken issue, with the Los Angeles Times (Lean Left bias) and Washington Post (Lean Left bias) losing thousands of subscribers and seeing some staff resignations as a result.
Vice President Kamala Harris said the lack of endorsements were ādisappointing, no doubt,ā and, referencing the newspapersā owners, who killed the endorsements, said, āItās billionaires in Donald Trumpās club.ā
Former President Trump said, āDo you notice the Washington Post and Los Angeles Times arenāt endorsing anybody? You know what theyāre really saying? Because they only endorse Democrats. Theyāre saying, āThis Democratās no good. Theyāre no good,ā and they think Iām doing a great job. They just donāt want to say it.ā
