A man was killed Wednesday night when a cargo train struck him in Camden, according to Dan Keashen, a spokesman for the Camden County Police Department.
The man, who was not identified, was hit on Conrail tracks in the area of Carl Miller Boulevard and South 6th Street around 7 p.m., officials said.
No other information about the incident was released.
Keashen said around 9 p.m. that the intersection would be closed for several hours.
