New York Daily News
The New York Daily News is a U.S. newspaper based in New York City. It is the ninth most widely circulated daily newspaper in the country, printing 200,000 copies a day. It was founded in 1919, and was the first U.S. daily printed in tabloid format. As of 2017, the paper is owned by tronc, the publishing operations of the former Tribune Company, and is headquartered at 4 New York Plaza in Lower Manhattan.
Though a self-proclaimed Republican newspaper for much of its history, the Daily News in recent years has exhibited a more moderate-to-liberal bias, and is often contrasted with the right-rated New York Post.

North Korea launched at least two “unidentified projectiles” early Thursday morning, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said.
The projectiles reportedly flew around 267 miles and were fired from the Wonsan area on North Korea’s eastern coast.
“Our military, in preparation for additional launches, is maintaining (its) readiness posture by monitoring related movements,” an official in the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff office told CNN.
This is the first projectile the country has fired since May when North Korea tested short-range missiles and other rockets.
President Trump became the first sitting U.S. president to step into North Korean territory when he crossed the demilitarized zone into the country on June 30.
