NEW YORK — Walmart, the nation's largest retailer, is standing behind its full-year sales and operating income outlook even as President Donald Trump has launched tariff wars with China and nearly every trading partner that have brought a wave of economic uncertainty. But it walked away from its guidance for first-quarter operating profit growth of between 0.5% to 2%, citing the risk of tariffs. It didn't provide a new range. Walmart said...

A search and rescue operation off the northern coast of the island of Lesbos recovered the bodies of two women and two children — a boy and a girl — the coast guard said. Weather in the area was reported to be good, and it was unclear what had caused the...

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. A tornado threat tracking east across the United States near the South and Midwest has sparked an additional concern of "particularly dangerous" flooding. National Guard troops were deployed in Arkansas, a particularly hard-hit state, to help communities remove debris from damaged properties.

NEW YORK -- In an unexpected upset, the Jason Statham thriller "A Working Man" took No. 1 at the box office, besting the rapidly declining "Snow White," according to studio estimates Sunday. Even after a lackluster debut, the Walt Disney Co.'s live-action remake was predicted to remain the top film in U.S. and Canadian theaters over the weekend. Instead, "Snow White," plagued by bad buzz and backlash, nosedived in its second weekend and dropped 66%. At the same time, Amazon MGM Studios' "A Working Man," directed by David Ayer, beat...

He faulted the department's 82,000...
