The Bally Sports networks were no longer available to Comcast subscribers on May 1 due to a contract dispute. FARGO, ND — Smoke from wildfires in Canada and the western U.S. is causing hazy skies and poor air quality across North Dakota.

The Department of Environmental Quality says the smoke can be hazardous for children, the elderly, and those with lung conditions. Those groups are encouraged to limit their time outdoors.

MINNEAPOLIS (KFGO WCCO) – The Minneapolis City Council voted to approve the contract for the Minneapolis Police Officers union in a 8-4 vote Thursday morning. The contract will increase wages for Minneapolis officers by nearly 22%. The deal has already been ratified by the union’s rank and file.
