SINGAPORE/LONDON, Feb 4 (Reuters) - U.S. stock futures and the dollar fell on Tuesday, while Hong Kong shares slipped from two-month highs, as the U.S. and China went tit-for-tat on tariffs and raised the spectre of a broader, damaging trade conflict. "(The) trade war story remains alive and well and this has a lot further to play out," said Shane Oliver, chief economist at AMP in Sydney, as prices skidded around on news headlines. S&P 500 futures , which had bounced in relief that Mexico and Canada cut last-minute deals...

The Canadian dollar hit its lowest level since 2003, Mexico’s currency tumbled by almost 3 per cent and the euro slid 1.3 per cent. Asian stocks dropped while US stock futures also fell sharply,...

U.S. stock futures were sharply lower on Monday in the first session of the new month, after President Donald Trump imposed tariffs on major trading partners.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average tumbled 600 points, or 1.36%, while the Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 slid 1.8% and 1.6%, respectively.

Trump placed tariffs of 25% on imports from Canada and Mexico, and 10% on China over the weekend, causing concerns over how they will affect the global economy.
