Four Israelis were questioned by police on Tuesday on suspicion of forming an armed vigilante group to look for Palestinian laborers , following the alleged rape of a local woman by a Bedouin man in the city of Gedera earlier this month. The suspects were questioned following WhatsApp messages indicating that a group was organizing to patrol construction sites. They are suspected of conspiring to commit an offense and of trespassing. They were released with restrictions and ordered to keep away from Gedera. A 22-year-old man was arrested on Saturday...

Three mild earthquakes were felt across Israel over the last day, according to the Geological Survey, with no reports of injuries or damage. The army's Home Front Command said the quakes posed no danger to people, and therefore did not trigger the country's earthquake warning system. The first quake, measuring 3.5 on the Richter Scale, was recorded in central Israel on Tuesday night. According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, the epicenter of the quake was some 28 kilometers (17.4 miles) northeast of Nablus. According to Israel's Geological Survey, the epicenter...

Tremors are felt in northern Israel in what appears to be a minor earthquake centered in Lebanon.

Israel’s Energy Ministry says that shortly before 9 p.m. local time, an earthquake is felt in the north, and its source is being investigated.

Media outlets in Lebanon are reporting residents experiencing earthquake tremors throughout the country.

There have been several small quakes felt in Israel over the past two days since a massive earthquake brought devastation to Turkey and Syria early Monday morning.

Issacharoff should know: he is not only a leading journalist covering Arab and Palestinian affairs, but also the co-creator of the international smash hit 'Fauda', which goes inside the lives of Israeli commandos, Palestinian terrorists and the ordinary people around them trying to to live their lives. “You see the number of terrorist attacks. You see the number of casualties on...

The 3.5-magnitude tremor hit at 11:14 p.m. local time and was centered around 15 kilometers (9 miles) southeast of Ariel in the West Bank, the ministry says.

The IDF’s Home Front command says the earthquake warning system was not activated because the tremors did not pose a danger to residents.

Israel’s key area of vulnerability for quakes is along the Syrian African Rift, which runs through the Jordan Valley, down the eastern side of the country.
