Mayoral candidate and then-Gov. Andrew Cuomo used heavy-handed tactics and secretiveness with Big Apple officials as the city struggled to contain the deadly COVID pandemic, a scathing new study says.

Ex-Mayor Bill de Blasio also gets dinged in the report, which was issued by several city agencies that analyzed New York City’s handling of the health crisis — and which specifically criticized the toxic relationship between him and Cuomo.

Ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced his long-expected NYC mayoral bid Saturday â€” a late entry threatening to eclipse a crowded Democratic primary and deal embattled incumbent Eric Adams a political death blow.

Cuomo enters the crowded race widely considered the front runner after a monthslong shadow campaign, in which he coyly avoided officially announcing his political comeback while ruthlessly capitalizing behind-the-scenes on Adams’ scandal-plagued first term.

Andrew Cuomo officially launched his bid to be the next mayor of New York City, attempting a comeback in politics after the former New York governor’s high-profile resignation in 2021.

Cuomo, who left his previous post because of a damning sexual harassment scandal, announced his candidacy on Saturday against Mayor Eric Adams, a fellow Democrat who faces bribery and fraud charges.

The most significant factor in the mayor’s race here may be living 240 miles away at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

In a crowded field of mayoral aspirants, two Democrats with complicated relationships with President Donald Trump are poised to turn the race into a referendum on how New York voters want their city to engage with the current occupant of the White House.

NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo seemed to think he was back on CNN Wednesday night as he actively tried to downplay the stolen valor scandal rocking the Harris/Walz campaign on his eponymous show. Ignoring the fact that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) lied about going to war and carrying a weapon there, Cuomo presented a misleading timeline of Walz’s retirement and openly suggested it was an important issue.

The justice department found Cuomo “repeatedly subjected” women in his office to non-consensual sexual contact, ogling and gender-based nicknames. Top Cuomo staff “were aware of the conduct and retaliated against four of the women he harassed,” the DOJ concluded.

Nov. 25 (UPI) -- An aide for former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo who accused him of groping her in 2020 filed a civil lawsuit under the state's Adult Survivors Act for "continuous sexual harassment," multiple news organizations reported.

Brittany Commisso filed court papers earlier this week to initiate a lawsuit and a formal complaint that Cuomo made unwanted advances and retaliated when she rebuffed.

A former executive assistant to New York’s now ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) is suing him for sexual assault. The legal summons regarding Brittany Commisso was filed just before the Adult Survivors Act reached its deadline, the New York Post reported Friday: Commisso alleges that while she worked in the Executive Chamber as an executive assistant from 2019 through August 2021 her ex-boss subjected her to “humiliating and demeaning tasks, hugs, kisses, sexual touching of the buttocks and forcible touching of the breast.” Commisso, a divorced mom of one who joined...

After years of denied allegations, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is being sued by one of his accusers who claims he repeatedly sexually harassed her. Brittany Commisso, who began working for Cuomo in 2017, filed the lawsuit in Albany on Wednesday under the Adult Survivors Act which, for one year, did away with the statute of limitations and allowed alleged victims to sue regardless of when the incident in question occurred. That window of opportunity closed at midnight on Thursday, Fox News Digital reports. After becoming a darling of...
