Young Black Americans in town for a popular Philadelphia music festival went on the record to voice their displeasure with President Biden.

The Washington Post reported Wednesday that it spoke to around thirty young Black voters at the "Roots Picnic" over the weekend, a popular music festival hosted by hip-hop group The Roots in the city. Most of the voters told the outlet don’t support Trump for president, but they also don’t want Biden.

At the end of the first season of his reality TV show The Apprentice, Donald Trump’s choice of a winner was a matter of black and white.

And according to a former producer, Trump did not mince words about who the winner would be. In an essay for Slate, Bill Pruitt recalls how Trump, just as brash and whiny decades ago as he is now, openly used the N-word to refer to the first season’s Black finalist and was dead set against crowning him the victor.

NEW YORK – Former President Trump has broken political norms by visiting one of the most deep-blue areas in New York City, a town not necessarily known for its kindness to Republicans.

Trump rallied a crowd of what his campaign estimated to be 25,000 supporters at Crotona Park in the Bronx on Thursday, far more than the initial 3,500 it said were expected to attend. Those numbers appeared to also include those lined up outside the event – who waited hours for a shot at getting inside even after the event began.

Miles from the rather somber Manhattan courtroom where he has spent much of the past five weeks as a criminal defendant, former President Donald J. Trump on Thursday stood at a park in the Bronx, surveyed the crowd and acknowledged he had been concerned over how he might be greeted at his first rally in New York State in eight years, and his first ever in the borough.

Comedian Katt Williams took on the subject of reparations during his new Netflix stand-up special Woke Foke, saying the tens of billions of dollars the U.S. has sent to Ukraine should go instead to black Americans. Katt Williams’ special streamed live on Saturday from the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California. The comedian joked about a wide range of subjects, including the bag of cocaine found at the White House and transgender athletes (ā€œpenginasā€ or ā€œclitoris dickoris dockā€?). But his bit about reparations has generated the most attention. ā€œIt is now...

Rep. Mike Collins (R-GA) was forced to walk back his praise for a group of pro-Israel counter protesters at Ole Miss who were caught on video jeering at a lone Black pro-Palestine demonstrator—including one fraternity member who made monkey noises at the woman while acting out crude primate mannerisms.

Collins, who helped make the clip go viral by sharing it Friday with the caption ā€œOle Miss taking care of business,ā€ conceded in a statement Monday that the video included behavior that ā€œnone of us should seek to glorify.ā€
