Fast-food chain Burger King will be debuting a new value meal ahead of schedule as competitor chains launch meal deals of their own.

"We are bringing back our $5 ‘Your Way Meal’ as agreed upon with our franchisees back in April," a spokesperson for Burger King said on Thursday, May 23.

The news was first reported by Bloomberg News.

Not much beats a sliced potato fried to golden perfection and dusted with salt, but some places do it better than others. A new survey from CasinoReviews.net, a website that, you guessed it, reviews casinos, found that most states all agree on which fast food company makes the best french fries. The answer is probably unsurprising. A survey of 2,000 people from all across America found that most states prefer the fries served beneath the golden arches. Of the 50 states that comprise this great nation, 32 agree that McDonald’s...

ENFIELD — A fugitive wanted on a murder charge by Delaware authorities was caught at an Elm Street fast-food restaurant Thursday, according to local police.

Timothy Olschafskie, 30, of Enfield, is charged in Delaware with first-degree murder by abuse or neglect, Enfield Chief of Police Alaric J. Fox said Friday. Fox said Enfield police “have no information on the original event.”

Around 5:34 p.m., police took Timothy Olschafskie, 30, into custody at the Burger King on Elm Street. An arrest warrant out of Wilmington, Delaware indicated Olschafskie is wanted for first-degree "murder by abuse or neglect," Police Chief Alaric Fox said. He was held as a fugitive from justice on a $1 million bond, and is scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Hartford Superior Court. A message from Patch to Wilmington Police Department public information officer David Karas seeking additional information about the Delaware homicide case has not yet been returned....

Former Republican Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee thinks House members need to compromise in order to elect a speaker and end the standstill that has gone on for over two weeks since former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) was ousted. "You cannot have people in the Congress, every one of them thinking they're gonna get it exactly their way. This isn't Burger King. You don't get it your way," Huckabee told Hannity. "This is McDonald's. They've got a simple menu; order from what you've got up there, get Jim Jordan." The Fox...
