The Department of Homeland Security revoked parole status for those who used the CBP One App to obtain the status. The move puts over 900,000 migrants up for deportation.

Parole status is a two-year temporary authorization to be in the United States due to circumstances in the home country.

That’s an eggshell-ent development.

US border agents have seized more eggs than fentanyl in recent months as President Trump ramped up security to stop the flow of the deadly opioid — and egg prices have surged as high as $15 a carton.

Since October, border agents have seized 3,768 poultry-related products, whereas there were only 352 instances of fentanyl being confiscated, according to the Telegraph...

Federal data shows that eggs are being seized at U.S. borders more than the synthetic opioid fentanyl, a trend occurring amid an ongoing bird flu outbreak causing poultry shortages across the nation.

According to data collected by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), there have been 5,572 egg product seizures so far this fiscal year. There were about 15,955 such interceptions in fiscal year 2024 and 16,541 in fiscal year 2023, the data shows.

A federal judge in California awarded over $1 million to two child siblings who were held by Customs and Border Protection in 2019 even though they are U.S. citizens, court records show.

Most of that amount went to the sister, then 9, who was held in custody for around 34 hours after she and her 14-year-old brother were stopped while they were using the San Ysidro border crossing from Mexico to California.

Mexico is facing a dire shortage of fentanyl for medical use, a new government report warned — despite cartels producing loads of the illicit drug and smuggling it into the US. The study, published Friday by Mexico’s National Commission on Mental Health and Addictions, did not offer a reason for the puzzling shortage but said it was a global issue. Fentanyl, used for anesthesia in hospitals, had to be imported into Mexico, the commission said. And those imports reportedly dropped by more than 50% between 2022 and 2023. Meanwhile, Mexican...

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released its monthly update touting that the number of migrant encounters had decreased since last month. In March, the Border Patrol recorded 137,480 encounters between ports of entry along the southwest border. The encounters between ports of entry along the southwest border were 45% lower than in December 2023, and 16% lower than in March 2023. While it was the lowest March for Border Patrol encounters under the Biden administration, CBP records show the first six months of fiscal year 2024 had 1,340,801...

Former President Donald Trump and Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) appeared together for a joint press conference in Palm Beach, Florida, to promote an election integrity bill. During a press conference at Mar-a-Lago on Friday, Trump called upon President Joe Biden to “close the border immediately,” pointing out that the United States was seeing a rise in “migrant crime” before revealing that they wanted to talk about “election interference” and “election integrity.” “We probably have fifteen million people, and they come from places you don’t want to know...

A suspected member of a “virulently anti-Western” terrorist group was turned loose by federal authorities after being apprehended crossing the US-Mexico border and, later, freed again when he went before an immigration judge, according to a report. Customs and Border Protection agents apprehended and released Mohammad Kharwin, 48, after he illegally entered the US near San Ysidro, Calif., in March of 2023, despite suspicions the Afghan national was on the FBI’s terrorist watchlist, according to NBC News.
