President Joe Biden said during his State of the Union address that two years ago, amid pandemic-related shutdowns, "Our schools were robbed of so much." One of his Republican critics said on that point, Biden deserved the blame.

Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado tweeted about the school closures, "Hey Joe, YOU CLOSED THEM!" 

That is inaccurate. School closures began in spring 2020 when former President Donald Trump was still in office, and those decisions were made by state-level education officials and governors. 

The latest Twitter Files involving the tech giant's response to the pandemic puts a focus on Dr. Scott Gottlieb, a former FDA commissioner and sitting board member of prominent COVID vaccine manufacture Pfizer. 

Alex Berenson, a vocal COVID contrarian whose past commentary on the vaccine has received scorn by critics and praise by fans, was the latest to be granted access to Elon Musk's Twitter Files, publishing his findings on his "Unreported Truths" Substack newsletter.

One Twitter user replied to Musk’s tweet, saying she was,"Waiting… … for #FauciFiles."

Twitter relied on bots, foreign contractors and busybody users dubbed “tattles” to enforce its misinformation policies, the latest report on the company’s internal practices revealed Monday.

In a case study, the Free Press reporter David Zweig focused on an Aug. 11 tweet from user @KelleyKga, who describes herself in her Twitter biography as an “‘Internet rando’ and public health fact checker — Focused on Covid and kids, restoring normalcy, and Covid metrics in Georgia.”

During the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, Twitter’s leaders bowed to government pressure to censor information that was true but inconvenient, suspended medical professionals who disagreed with establishment views, and relied on bots and foreign contractors to moderate complex scientific topics, according to the newest edition of the Twitter Files.

The Elon Musk regime at Twitter is no longer enforcing the platform's COVID-19 misinformation rules, a move that follows the CEO's declaration of "general amnesty" for suspended accounts.
