Kanye West asked people working on his new album “Jesus is King” to refrain from premarital sex, the musical talent said Thursday, during an interview with Zane Lowe of Beats 1. West also talked about the over-saturation of porn in our culture, stating bluntly that it’s “not okay.”

According to the Department of Justice, a now-busted online hub for child pornography had strict instructions for its users: “Do not upload adult porn.”

The specter of pornography is once again haunting the minds of certain American conservatives. "Let's ban porn," Ross Douthat of The New York Times declared last year. Porn is "just a product," he wrote, "something made and distributed and sold, and therefore subject to regulation and restriction if we so desire." In The Daily Caller Zak Slayback recently doubled down on Douthat. "Unlike a Scorsese film or a newspaper, both of which are consumed for artistic enjoyment," he wrote, "pornography is consumed with one outside end in mind: orgasm and masturbation.

Democrat Andrew Yang recently tweeted about something that most national politicians have avoided for years: pornography.

Yang is right, despite the protestations of a thousand pornography consumers in his replies.
