The socialist firebrands have been criss-crossing the country, attracting some of the largest crowds of their careers. Their rallies are bigger than any other events currently being held by Democrats, and party figures of all stripes are taking notice.

Progressives in Washington are facing an existential crisis like never before as they brace for the incoming Trump administration. 

Not only are they at odds with their own party, with many Democrats seeking to pin the blame for their November losses on them, but some on the left are also openly fearful that an emboldened GOP will use its influence against their flank.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries‘s (D-NY) spokeswoman mocked Justice Democrats’ attempt to pin Rep. Jamaal Bowman’s (D-NY) primary loss on him.

Bowman lost to Westchester County Executive George Latimer, who campaigned as a contrast to Bowman’s stance on Israel and the congressman’s antics in the House of Representatives. Justice Democrats, a hard-left group that supported Bowman, attempted to blame the House’s Democratic leader — Jeffries.

American commentator Briahna Joy Gray was fired from The Hill news site on Thursday, after she rolled her eyes in contempt in an interview with Yarden Gonen, the sister of Israeli hostage Romi Gonen.

The act, which has caused public outrage, occurred on the site's YouTube channel, which has two million subscribers.

Gray, affiliated with America's radical left, previously worked for Senator Bernie Sanders when he ran for the presidency in 2020. She served as a host on The Hill's show Rising.

The Hill fired its progressive online show host after she appeared to roll her eyes while interviewing the sister of an Israeli woman kidnapped and held hostage by Hamas.

“It finally happened. The Hill has fired me,” Briahna Joy Gray said on X Thursday, posted with an image of her notice of termination from the outlet.

She said, “There should be no doubt that @RisingHill has a clear pattern of suppressing speech — particularly when it’s critical of the state of Israel.”

The Florida supreme court on Thursday upheld Governor Ron DeSantis’s decision last year to suspend progressive state attorney Monique Worrell, who claims she was unjustly fired for political reasons.

The court’s justices voted 6-1 to keep the suspended attorney out of a job. Worrell, who is running for office in November to regain her Orlando-area position, argued that the DeSantis’s justification for suspending her was too vague and that the decision infringed on her prosecutorial discretion. Most members of the court, five of whom were appointed by DeSantis, disagreed.
