Anti-Israel demonstrators unlawfully blocked traffic in Salt Lake City, Utah on Tuesday evening. During the protest, the Salt Lake Police Department (SLCPD) responded in a post that drivers should expect "traffic delays in the area" and instructed locals to "use detours" instead. The protest took place in response to an Israeli military operation that rescued two hostages on Monday.

A Rhode Island man is being referred to as a hero, an angel, and even Spider-Man after he leaped into action to save a 2-year-old child he saw walking on a roof. The toddler climbed out of a window that her mother left open because it was hot in their apartment, according to police. The man wished to remain anonymous. “I just kept thinking, ‘Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. The baby’s going to fall,'” onlooker Michelle Higgins told WJAR. “The baby was really coming to the...

BRIDGEPORT, CT — The identification has been released by police of the 2-year-old boy killed in a one-car crash early Tuesday in Bridgeport. Jayseon Ramsay was killed when the 2005 Honda Accord he was riding in crashed into a utility pole and tree on Reservoir Avenue near Saunders Avenue. The 29-year-old male driver of the car suffered minor injuries in the 6 a.m. crash, while a 30-year-old female passenger was seriously injured.

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) — United States Highway Administrator Shailen Bhatt joined state officials Monday to discuss the future of the Washington Bridge. Bhatt gave his thoughts on whether workers can continue repairs on the bridge or if it will have to be torn down and replaced. “The reason I came up here today is because of the transition of a potential repair to a potential replacement,” Bhatt said. Bhatt added that operational and traffic experts will analyze traffic patterns and decide the most effective way to set up the...

U.S. safety regulators have upgraded their probe into Tesla (TSLA.O), opens new tab vehicles over power steering loss to an engineering analysis - a required step before the agency could demand a potential recall.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on Friday said the investigation covers about 334,000 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles from the 2023 model year.

Tesla recalled 2.2 million electric vehicles in the U.S. on Thursday, citing an increased crash risk.

The National Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced the recall, which it attributed to incorrect font sizes on the vehicles’ warning lights, NBC News reported.

“Warning lights with a smaller font size can make critical safety information on the instrument panel difficult to read, increasing the risk of a crash,” the NHTSA said.

Tesla’s latest massive recall is a weird one. It’s not about reported problems with sudden braking or driver monitoring alerts or seat belts. Nope, this one is all about font size.

It turns out that the font size for Tesla’s brake warning system is a bit too small. How small? Smaller than 3.2 millimeters, or one-eighth of an inch, as prescribed by the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS). So the company has to recall all 2.19 million vehicles it has on the road today — again.

Thick clouds of black smoke billowed into the air of East Palestine, Ohio, after a Norfolk Southern train derailment nearly one year ago, polluting the environment with toxic chemicals that residents fear have caused long-term health effects.

“We basically nuked a town with chemicals so we could get a railroad open,” hazardous materials specialist Sil Caggiano said.

After a year of pleas for help and near silence from the Biden administration, the president announced he was finally going to visit the town this month.

A video taken by a high school student shows an Indiana lawmaker flashing a gun to students who were visiting the statehouse to talk to legislators about gun control. A student from Burris Laboratory School in Muncie told The Associated Press she and four other students were at the state Capitol on Tuesday to participate in a day of advocacy with Students Demand Action, an arm of Everytown for Gun Safety. Alana Trissel, 17, said state Rep. Jim Lucas asked the students what brought them to the Capitol and began...

Global e-commerce company eBay Inc. has agreed to pay a $3 million criminal penalty to a Massachusetts couple after former employees targeted them in a harassment and intimidation campaign, officials said Thursday.

The company admitted that between August 2019 and August 2020, Jim Baugh, eBay’s former Senior Director of Safety and Security, and six other members of the security team targeted the victims for their roles in publishing a newsletter for eBay sellers, the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Massachusetts said.
