Sean ā€œDiddyā€ Combs pleaded not guilty Monday to additional criminal counts brought forth in a new federal indictment charging the disgraced rapper under five counts, including racketeering and sex trafficking.

Combs appeared in a New York courtroom to formally enter his plea weeks ahead of his federal criminal trial which is set to begin with jury selection on May 5, Reuters reported.

The music mogul faces federal charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution...

One of America’s most deeply entrenched political machines is finally coming apart.

New Jersey political insiders struggled to come up with big enough words Monday morning morning to describe what they were hearing: The state attorney general was about to indict South Jersey Democratic power broker George Norcross, one of the most formidable and fearsome operators in state history, on corruption charges.

ā€œEarthquake,ā€ one told POLITICO. ā€œAtomic bomb,ā€ said another.

George E. Norcross III, a powerful executive and political figure in New Jersey for decades, was indicted Monday on racketeering and related charges, the state attorney general announced.

The sweeping indictment alleges he led a criminal enterprise that used extortion to promote his vast business and political and philanthropic empire — in the process, illegally securing hundreds of millions of dollars in tax credits and rights to build developments on the valuable Camden waterfront, across from Philadelphia.

George Norcross, who for decades had been a Democratic political kingmaker in New Jersey, was charged with racketeering in an indictment unsealed Monday.

Norcross’s brother, Phillip Norcross, and four other defendants also were charged in the 13-count, 111-page indictment filed by New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin.

A special grand jury recommended last year that Atlanta’s district attorney charge three current and former US senators for allegedly aiding former President Donald Trump’s attempts to reverse his 2020 election loss.

The panel urged Fulton County DA Fani Willis to indict Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and former Sens. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) and David Perdue R-Ga.), according to its 28-page report, released Friday.

After months under seal, a report by the Georgia special grand jury that investigated whether any charges should be brought against former President Trump and a throng of co-defendants was released Friday.

The report names 39 individuals whose actions following the 2020 presidential election were investigated over an alleged effort to subvert the state’s election results and keep Trump in the White House.

Members of the Fulton County special purpose grand jury that investigated interference in Georgia’s 2020 presidential election recommended that more than three dozen allies of former President Donald Trump be indicted for alleged crimes, more than double the number who were ultimately charged.

Sixty-one people have been indicted in Georgia on racketeering charges following a long-running state investigation into protests against a planned police and firefighter training facility in the Atlanta area that critics call ā€œCop City.ā€

In the sweeping indictment released Tuesday, Republican Attorney General Chris Carr alleged the defendants are ā€œmilitant anarchistsā€ who supported a violent movement that prosecutors trace to the widespread 2020 racial justice protests.
