Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry released a video Thursday morning strongly suggesting that he's running again for president. The video ends with a "Perry President" logo and notes that it is "Paid for by Perry for President Inc." His website has also been rebranded ahead of his expected midday announcement speech in Dallas on Thursday.

Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry will once again seek the presidency. Perry, who announced his candidacy on his website today, is no stranger to our site, as we fact-checked his statements during the 2012 cycle when he campaigned for the Republican nomination. Our file on the governor includes items on immigration, jobs, taxes, the environment and government regulation.

Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry said Friday that the next president of the United States needs to be someone with ā€œdeep experience as an executive,ā€ naming several crises he had to deal with as the longest-serving governor in state history that nobody had explicitly prepared him for.

ā€œI will suggest to you that the next president of the United States really needs to be someone who has deep experience as an executive,ā€ Mr. Perry said at the ā€œ#FITN (first-in-the-nation) Republican Leadership Summitā€ hosted by the New Hampshire GOP. ā€œAnd I’m talking about things that you can’t just le

Former Texas Governor Rick Perry sounded an awful lot like a candidate for president as he questioned U.S. policies on energy, immigration and education at a Bloomberg-sponsored forum in Houston.

Perry also cited his blue-collar background and military service Tuesday, and said he could win Iowa and Pennsylvania's presidential nominating contests if he runs in what is expected to be a crowded Republican field in 2016.

Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry slammed President Barack Obama's foreign policy efforts on Wednesday, saying that "Americans are starving for leadership that will act and solve the great challenges we face today."

"Leadership that isn't ashamed to see America lead the world again and that stands with its allies again," said Perry, who served as the Lone Star state's top Republican from 2000 to earlier this year. "Thi

We’ve looked at the arguments for the presidential candidacies of Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.). Turning to former Texas governor Rick Perry, one might conclude he is the most underestimated candidate. Pundits who rank candidates tend to put him in the bottom tier of contenders. Like generals, however, pundits tend to fight the last campaign, and in the case of Perry that means affixing a dunce cap to his head and writing him off.

After eight years of a president with a short legislative resume, Rick Perry says Americans will not make that same mistake in 2016 and are ready for a president with a proven record of accomplishment.

"We took a chance with a young, articulate United States senator who didn't have any record, and I happen to think we're paying a price for it," the former Texas governor told an audience in New Hampshire last week.

She was the one caught driving drunk, but in an odd twist of political fate, he's now the one who has just been indicted on felony charges. On the face of it, you might think that Rosemary Lehmberg, district attorney for Travis County in Texas, would be out of her job after being caught driving under the influence, haranguing those who took her in, being convicted and serving 20 days in jail. But it's her bitter political rival Texas Gov. Rick Perry who's now facing serious charges for how he reacted to what she did.
