COLD SPRING, NY — A Putnam County man, who has been missing, was killed Tuesday while skiing at Stowe Mountain Resort in Stowe, Vermont. The Stowe Police Department said it received a report about the missing man at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and his body was found just before midnight. A judge in the environmental division of Vermont Superior Court gave the go-ahead Tuesday for demolition of the former Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in downtown Burlington, considered by some to be a masterpiece of modernist architecture.
