ESPN host Stephen A. Smith challenged Whoopi Goldberg during â€œThe View” on Tuesday over the Democratic Party’s messaging problem after the liberal host attempted to defend the messaging by comparing it to President Donald Trump.

“If you think about him being impeached twice, 34 felony convictions, and they still elected him president, it’s not about him winning. It was an indictment against the Democratic Party and what the Democratic Party was offering to American citizens.

Michelle Collins is getting candid about her time on . During an appearance on the Wednesday, April 10, episode of the podcast, Collins, 42, reflected on leaving the show in 2016 after serving as a co-host for one season . "I have bitten my tongue about a lot of the things that went on there. I think partially due to light PTSD and then just also being raised in a family home where we took the high road," said Collins after teasing that she might bring up The View on...

The news of O.J. Simpson’s death was met with a mixed bag of responses befitting his complicated (to say the least) history. But hearing the news, my immediate thought wasn’t anything to do with O.J.’s life, controversies or career. It was “Man, I miss Norm Macdonald.” In my mind, Norm is the greatest stand-up comedian of all time. Norm initially became famous in the ’90s for his turn as the host of Saturday Night Live (SNL)’s Weekend Update segment, during which he relentlessly fired off O.J. Simpson jokes. Most still...

Reactions to the death of O.J. Simpson have begun to percolate, as comments that cropped up steadily on social media, in the press and on television from public figures and people who personally knew him reflected the division that still exists over his infamous acquittal. Simpson died Wednesday from complications of prostate cancer, his agent confirmed to CBS News. He was 76. A National Football League star, actor and broadcaster before his estranged wife's murder in 1994, Simpson rapidly drew global attention and notoriety when he was accused in the...

Vice President Kamala Harris stopped by on "The View" Wednesday to talk about the administration's message to voters and its goals as the 2024 presidential election kicks off.

Harris said she was "scared as heck" when asked about her thoughts about former President Donald Trump being re-elected, and that many Americans that she has talked to in the last couple of weeks have that same feeling. The vice president said that she has been actively listening to those concerns and has worked to provide not only an ear but also policy solutions.

Sen. Tim Scott joined the hosts of "The View" on Monday and criticized them over previous comments made on the program about him being the "exception" to systemic racism in the U.S., saying it was an "offensive, disgusting message" to send to young people.

Co-host Sunny Hostin asked Scott if he believed in the concept of systemic racism and pressed him on being the "exception" in overcoming such a system.

The cackling coven of ABC’s The View opened Wednesday’s edition of the show by grasping at paper straws, which were unraveling in their hands as they desperately tried to defend the weak case brought against former President Trump by New York D.A. Alvin Bragg. They tacitly admitted it’s a “weak case” as they attempted to redefine the term and spin the lack of supporting arguments for some of the 34 charges.

Election misinformation has been a specialty for ABC’s The View; for instance, last year they defended election denialism of the 2016 results from Democrats. On Thursday, they were back at it with attacks on Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and her district with dangerous lies about it being “gerrymandered.” They also insisted voters were not having their voices heard in elections.
