President Donald Trump's approval rating among small business owners reached an all-time high in the first quarter of 2020, according to a survey this week by CNBC and SurveyMonkey. Sixty-four percent of respondents said they agreed with the job Trump is doing as president, the highest number since the quarterly survey was launched in 2017.
Coverage of the poll has been one-sided, with no left-leaning outlets reporting as of Friday morning. CNBC, the company behind the survey, has a center bias. A separate Gallup poll last week found that Trump was less favored by small business owners than former New York Mayor and Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg.
