Five Minnesota Senate Republicans are seeking to dub ā€œTrump derangement syndromeā€ (TDS), a term coined to describe a form of criticism of President Donald Trump, as an official mental illness recognized under state statute.

Eric Lucero, R-St. Michael, Steve Drazkowski, R-Mazeppa, Nathan Wesenberg, R-Little Falls, Justin D. Eichorn, R-Grand Rapids, and Glenn H. Gruenhagen, R-Glencoe, are the five politicians who drafted the bill that would add the so-called ā€œsyndromeā€ to a lengthy list of definitions related to mental health care in Minnesota.

Kamala Harris’s running mate has an unquestioning devotion to the loudest, most radical environmentalist voices.

Minnesota governor Tim Walz, Kamala Harris’s running mate, is a committed Green New Dealer with a record of falling for environmentalist scams and blocking conventional-energy development.

'Many at MPD believe he was one of main reasons they had to watch one of their precincts burn in 2020.'

By Thursday, May 28, 2020, riots had plagued the city of Minneapolis for over three days. The Black Lives Matter rioters focused much of their attention on the Minneapolis Police Department's 3rd Precinct as officer Derek Chauvin, who was later convicted of killing George Floyd, had been assigned to that station.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, whom "border czar" Kamala Harris chose Tuesday to be her running mate, made the North Star State a sanctuary haven for illegal immigrants, providing them with free health care, college tuition, and driver's licenses, the New York Post reported. Since becoming governor in 2019, Walz has signed several pieces of legislation that cater to illegal immigrants at the expense of the American taxpayer, including access to state-funded health care, free college tuition, and driver’s licenses for the millions of illegal migrants who have entered the county...

Kamala Harris will name Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate, according to three people familiar with the decision granted anonymity because the announcement is not yet public.

By choosing Walz, Harris is elevating a Midwestern governor, veteran and former schoolteacher to help shore up support among blue-collar, white voters in the Rust Belt.

Walz, 60, led a progressive overhaul of Minnesota during his second term as governor, when Democrats took full control of state government in 2023 — a template for what Democrats hope to do nationally.

Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party's presidential nominee, on Tuesday named Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate as she faces off against former President Trump in the 2024 election, according to the Associated Press.

The naming of the 60-year-old Walz was not a shocker, as his name was instantly thought to be in contention in the two weeks since Harris succeeded President Biden as the party's standard-bearer.

Vice President Harris has chosen Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) to be her running mate as she heads toward a November faceoff against former President Trump, according to two sources familiar.

Walz, 60, emerged as a dark horse contender for the No. 2 slot as chatter over other high-profile names, in particular Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) and Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly (D), dominated the early portion of the veepstakes.

Four years after George Floyd was arrested and murdered by Minneapolis police, the nation is in the midst of a backlash movement that is trying to rewrite the narrative, the legacy and even the facts of the killing.

Call it the anti-reckoning. And it’s a disturbing sign of how hard-fought progress on policing and racial justice reforms are under attack by powerful and entrenched interests.
