‘Socialism’ Comment: Several outlets on the right framed Walz as a progressive and noted a comment he made at a "White Dudes for Harris" fundraiser last week when he said, “One person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness.” Another prevalent angle was the Trump campaign’s reaction to the pick, in which it described Walz as a “dangerously liberal extremist.”

Crossover Appeal: Many mainstream outlets from the left and center analyzed the Walz pick from a political standpoint.
