Kate Middleton looked the part of a princess at the royal wedding of Jordan. On Thursday, the Princess of Wales attended the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan to the newly-minted Princess Rajwa in Amman with Prince William. Princess Kate, 41, wore two special pieces of jewelry from the royal vault for the banquet that evening — Queen Mary’s Lover's Knot tiara and Queen Elizabeth's Greville Chandelier earrings. The diamond and pearl Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot tiara was a favorite of Princess Diana and has been among Kate’s go-to...

King Charles III is officially Britain’s reigning monarch.

The eldest son of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh was crowned on Saturday at London’s Westminster Abbey. Beside him was his wife, Queen Camilla.

The 74-year-old ascended to the throne upon the death of his mother, who passed away in September 2022. The 96-year-old was Britain’s longest-reigning monarch. Charles was proclaimed Britain’s monarch two days later in an ascension ceremony broadcast for the first time on television.

King Charles has been crowned at his Coronation, the first in the UK for 70 years.

Shortly afterwards, his wife Camilla was crowned Queen.

After the crown was placed on Charles' head, cries of "God Save the King" were heard inside and outside Westminster Abbey.

Gun salutes were made across the UK, the abbey bells rang for two minutes, and corks were popped on the Mall in London where thousands had gathered.

Britain’s King Charles III has been crowned in a once-in-a-generation royal event witnessed by hundreds of high-profile guests inside Westminster Abbey, as well as tens of thousands of well-wishers who gathered in central London despite the rain.

While Charles became King on the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II last September, the coronation on Saturday was the formal crowning of the monarch.

Camilla, the queen consort, is honoring the late Queen Elizabeth II and the monarchy's history at the coronation of King Charles III. As she arrived to Westminster Abbey in London May 6, Camilla donned a white Bruce Oldfield couture gown adorned with gold details, coordinating with the king’s robes. Accompanying her outfit, Camilla wore the same diamond necklace Elizabeth wore to her own coronation back in June 2, 1953. The necklace dates back well before Elizabeth’s coronation, though. The piece of jewelry — dubbed the Coronation Necklace — was originally...

Queen Elizabeth's grandchildren are coming together for King Charles and Queen Camilla's coronation day. On Saturday, all eight of the late Queen's grandchildren made their way into the crowning ceremony at Westminster Abbey. The King was supported by his sons Prince William and Prince Harry, and nieces and nephews — Peter Phillips, Zara Tindall, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Earl of Wessex. Wearing a morning suit, Prince Harry was all smiles as arrived at Westminster Abbey and entered the ceremony with his cousins, Beatrice and Eugenie,...

Kate Middleton slipped on something special for the coronation. The Princess of Wales, 41, honored Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana at the crowning ceremony through jewelry, wearing the late monarch's George VI Festoon Necklace with the South Sea Pearl Earrings, which belonged to her mother-in-law. The glittering George VI Festoon Necklace features three strands of diamonds and was created in 1950 at the commission of King George VI for his eldest daughter, then-Princess Elizabeth.

King Charles and Camilla, the Queen Consort, will each wear two robes during their coronation. Camilla will first wear the Robe of State that Queen Elizabeth wore to her coronation in 1953. She will then change into a personalized Robe of Estate whose details are rife with meaning. For the first time, according to the royal family's website, the Robe of Estate will include designs of insects. The stitching will consist of bees and a beetle, each representing "Their Majesties' affection for the natural world." Continuing with the natural-world theme,...
