With the start of the #MeToo movement, allegations of sexual misconduct have rocked virtually every industry, with many high-profile politicians, news personalities, and Hollywood celebrities publicly coming under fire.

Supporters of the #MeToo movement say that it is long overdue, and that anyone who has been harassed must be heard and believed. But while the condemnation of sexual misconduct has essentially been universal, some take issue with the lack of due process, with reports of men losing their jobs prior to undergoing a formal review.

There has also been an ongoing debate about the delineation between sexual assault and sexual harassment. Some argue that the severity of the offense shouldn't matter, and that there should be a zero tolerance policy. Others say that there is a false equivalence when looking at different offenses, and that any punishment should fit accordingly.

Sean “Diddy” Combs pleaded not guilty Monday to additional criminal counts brought forth in a new federal indictment charging the disgraced rapper under five counts, including racketeering and sex trafficking.

Combs appeared in a New York courtroom to formally enter his plea weeks ahead of his federal criminal trial which is set to begin with jury selection on May 5, Reuters reported.

The music mogul faces federal charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution...

Andy was enjoying a weekend away with his wife when it happened. “My neighbour phoned me and said, ‘The police are in your house. They’re looking for you.’” He didn’t need to wonder why. “You know. You know the reason. I was petrified when I got that call. It wasn’t just the thought of other people knowing what I had done; I also had to face myself, and that is a sick feeling – it is guilt, shame.”

Federal prosecutors on Friday added two charges to Sean “Diddy” Combs ' indictment and said they expect four accusers to testify against him, expanding on allegations that the jailed hip-hop mogul engaged in sex trafficking with multiple women and as recently as last year.

A superseding indictment accuses Combs of using force, fraud or coercion to compel a woman to engage in commercial sex acts from at least 2021 to 2024.

Sean "Diddy" Combs pleaded not guilty to the newest version of the government's allegations against the rapper during a Friday court hearing.

The new indictment against Diddy lengthened the timeline of his alleged sex-trafficking and racketeering behavior and added two more victims. The prosecution also accused the "Last Night" rapper of forcing employees to work long hours by threatening them with physical or reputational harm and forcing an employee to engage in a sexual encounter with the musician.

Tulsi Gabbard, director of national intelligence, said Tuesday more than 100 intelligence officers will be fired for taking part in sexually explicit discussions in agency chat rooms.

The big picture: Gabbard said on Fox News she "put out a directive" on Tuesday that those who took part in these chats on the National Security Agency's (NSA) "Intelink" messaging platform will also have their security clearances revoked.

The sister of billionaire OpenAI Chief Executive Sam Altman filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexually abusing her regularly between 1997 and 2006, prompting him and other family members to deny her claims.

In a complaint filed on Monday in St. Louis federal court, Ann Altman said the abuse occurred at the family home in suburban Clayton, Missouri, beginning when she was three and her brother was 12.

Now 30, Ann Altman said the abuse included "numerous acts" of rape, sexual assault, molestation, sodomy and battery until she was 11 or 12 years old.

Calls for a statutory inquiry into grooming gangs have been opposed by some on the grounds that the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) has already been held. The argument goes that since the flagship report on child sexual abuse was accompanied with a smaller one on child sexual exploitation (CSE) by organised networks, there have been enough inquiries.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer of Britain on Monday fired back at Elon Musk after days of inflammatory social media posts by Mr. Musk, the billionaire owner of X, indirectly accusing him and others of “spreading lies and misinformation” about victims of child sex abuse gangs.

“Those who are spreading lies and misinformation, as far and as wide as possible, are not interested in victims,” Mr. Starmer told reporters at an event south of London dedicated to repairing the National Health Service. “They’re interested in themselves.”

Elon Musk has reopened the national scandal surrounding gangs of men who groomed, assaulted and raped girls across England.

In dozens of messages posted on his X platform over the past week he has ranged from including excerpts of court transcripts to calling Sir Keir Starmer “complicit in the rape of Britain”.

They represent the latest intervention by the tech billionaire, who will work in Donald Trump’s incoming administration, into the affairs of the UK.

The grooming and serial rape of thousands of English girls by men of mostly Pakistani Muslim background over several decades is the biggest peacetime crime in the history of modern Europe. It went on for many years. It is still going on. And there has been no justice for the vast majority of the victims.
