The Oregonian
The Oregonian (oregonlive.com) is the oldest continually published newspaper on the west coast of the U.S. It serves the state of Oregon.
An AllSides independent review found that the Oregonian doesn't exhibit a clear bias in one direction or another. Its opinion page typically features perspectives from throughout the political spectrum.
This May, voters have an opportunity to boost our local economy, and they can do so by approving the Oregon Zoo bond, (“Voters will decide whether to fund improvements to Oregon Zoo,” April 25).
The Oregon Zoo is well known as a fun and educational place for kids, families, and seniors, and rightfully so. There is a lesser known but remarkably important fact about the zoo: It propels significant economic activity throughout our region.
