The Houston Chronicle in Houston, Tx. is the third-largest newspaper by Sunday circulation in the United States. It's considered the "paper of record" in the greater Houston area.
It was founded in 1901, and was bought by Hearst Communications in 1987.

A top official at the Texas Medical Board has stepped down after far-right state lawmakers launched a pressure campaign over his reported employment with a Planned Parenthood laboratory.
