
BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - An earthquake centered in Maine Monday morning sent shockwaves throughout the Northeast.
The USGS says the quake took place at 10:22 a.m. and was centered in York Harbor, Maine. It had a magnitude of 3.9.
WCAX viewers say it was felt as far away as East Thetford and Waitsfield and lasted several seconds.
In New Hampshire, emergency management officials say 911 did not receive any immediate calls about damage or injuries.
