Fox News Channel was already crushing its cable news competition before receiving a Trump bump.

The right-tilting television outlet is flourishing after the November elections, lapping its left-of-center rivals and notching ratings milestones as its viewers try to keep up with President Trump’s feverish pace.

ā€œIt is probably beyond the wildest dreams of anyone inside Fox News just how much they have surged in terms of both raw ratings and market share,ā€ said Curtis Houck, managing editor of the conservative Media Research Center’s Newsbusters.

Fox News contributor Jonathan Turley on Monday decried ā€œa prosecutionā€ of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) ā€œfor hostingā€ an immigration webinar.

ā€œBorder Czar Tom Homan doubled down last night that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) might be prosecuted for hosting a forum on ā€˜Know Your Rights’ for accused illegal aliens. Such a prosecution would be an assault on free speech rights,ā€ Turley said in a thread on the social platform X on Monday, as highlighted by Mediaite.

Sean P. Duffy, President-elect Donald Trump’s choice to head the Transportation Department, had a light day Wednesday compared with some other Cabinet picks, promising senators he’d work to improve safety and get Boeing ā€œback on track.ā€

Get ready for a show as Pete Hegseth, President-elect Trump’s controversial pick to lead the Pentagon, will head back to Capitol Hill on Tuesday for his confirmation hearing. Hegseth, a former Fox News host, will appear before the Senate Armed Services Committee having met previously with numerous Republican senators on the panel but only one Democrat in the weeks since Trump on Nov. 12 first announced his intended pick to lead the Defense Department.

President-elect Donald Trump was allegedly given questions in advance of a 2024 town hall discussion on Fox News, according to a new book from Politico reporter Alex Isenstadt.

The questions in question were sent from ā€œa person insideā€ Fox News to a ā€œsenior Trump aideā€ a half hour before the town hall — which took place in Iowa in January 2024 and was moderated by Fox News anchors Martha MacCallum and Bret Baier — according to Isenstadt.

Vice President Kamala Harris responded to former President Donald Trump after he posted on social media about switching the date and format of the next televised presidential debate, saying she'd see him at the event "he already agreed to." Then Trump doubled down.

"I’ll see her on September 4th or, I won’t see her at all," he posted on his Truth Social platform, referring to a debate he says he agreed to with Fox News.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump proposed to debate Democratic U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris on Fox News on Sept. 4, and the Harris campaign said Trump is trying to back out of a debate that had been set to run on ABC.

The rules would be similar to the first debate with President Joe Biden, who has since dropped his reelection bid, Trump said in a post, opens new tab on Truth Social late on Friday. But this time it would have a "full arena audience" and take place in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, Trump said.
