President Donald Trump revealed a conversation he had with Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos after the latter instituted sweeping changes to the outlet’s opinion pages.

During an interview with OutKick radio host Clay Travis over the weekend, the president talked about his relationship with Bezos, one of the richest men in the world, calling him ā€œa good guyā€ and praising him for pushing the outlet to be ā€œmore fairā€ in its coverage...

Morale is plummeting in the viper’s nest that passes for the Washington Post newsroom.

Not because readers are deserting the paper in droves. Not because the newspaper lost $77 million last year. The oh-so-ethical journalists of the WaPo couldn’t care less about such trivialities. They’re too busy finding ways to cover up Joe Biden’s corruption or swallowing new Deep State lies about Donald Trump’s ā€œexistential threat to democracy.ā€

The Washington Post is falling down on the job.

Its coverage of the war between Israel and Hamas has been so irresponsible, so sloppy, and so tilted in favor of the group that rules Gaza that it’s difficult to see it as anything but pro-Hamas.

If ā€œdemocracy dies in darkness,ā€ good journalism dies in the care of radical journalists and lousy editors.

The Washington Post stealth edited the caption of a photo Thursday that initially described Israeli children as having been "detained" by Hamas terrorists. The caption was subsequently changed to say they were "taken hostage."

The terror group Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, with hundreds of terrorists pouring into the country, killing over 1,200 Israelis and kidnapping many others. The Israeli military said Thursday there are still 203 hostages in Gaza.

Notable fact checking coverage across the spectrum this week delved into claims about President Biden’s often-told stories, liberal media's lopsided fact checking of Trump’s presidency, and Klaus Schwab’s alleged links to a European banking dynasty.

President Biden has raised eyebrows in recent weeks for telling an embellished story to the survivors of the Maui wildfires and while addressing Hurricane Idalia in an attempt to relate to people's struggles. But news outlets have found creative ways to refer to the president's questionable stories and even outright fabrications.

This story, as he's told it, entails what he suggests was a near-catastrophic fire that occurred at his home in 2004 due to a lightning strike, repeatedly claiming he "almost lost" his wife, cat and ’67 Corvette in the event.

Donald Trump was back on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, last night for the first time since he got the boot in 2021 following the riot by his supporters at the U.S. Capitol. Trump posted the mug shot of him that was taken at Atlanta's jail this week when he was booked on the charges laid out in his Georgia indictment, which stem from his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in that state. He included a caption that described the indictment as "ELECTION INTERFERENCE" and urged his followers to "NEVER SURRENDER!"
