President Donald Trump has been laying siege to Columbia University, canceling $400 million in federal grants to the elite school. In exchange for having funds restored, Columbia's administration has agreed to capitulate to a list of demands relating to campus anti-Israel demonstrations: The university will ban protesters from concealing their identities with face masks, create new disciplinary bureaucracies to punish purportedly disruptive students, and even police the Middle Eastern studies department for alleged antisemitism.

Another day, another unelected activist judge playing constitutional hopscotch with America’s safety. This time, Judge James Boasberg, an Obama appointee (because, of course, he is), has decided that foreign gang members—yes, actual criminals with suspected ties to violent Venezuelan crime syndicates—deserve a golden parachute back into the U.S. after President Trump rightfully ordered them deported.

President Donald Trump’s â€œlargest-ever” mass deportation has led to the arrests of thousands of illegal immigrants in the first 10 days of his presidency, but the new administration has a ways to go if it intends to surpass the Obama administration’s massive first-term figures.

The operation started on Day One, Jan. 20, with arrests of illegal immigrants across the nation, and it has quickly ramped up since then. It topped 2,300 arrests in the first week, reaching approximately 5,500 in 10 days.

The reasons for this dysfunction are many: political polarization, hyper-partisanship, razor-thin majorities – you name it. For the President of the United States, one solution is a frequently manipulated tool: executive orders.

Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy isn’t one to spew conspiracy theories, but what he said about Kamala Harris’ campaign was interesting, given the recent hires. The California Republican said that the man who is the real campaign manager is none other than former President Barack Obama (via NY Post):

Former President Barack Obama is secretly running Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign, using his people to direct her bid, ex-Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy claimed Sunday.
