As Wayne Gretzky prepares to take office on Monday as the first Canadian-born president of the United States since the 2026 annexation and statehood of Canada, Washington observers assume he will reverse his predecessor’s executive order mandating that the term “the Great One,” employed for years to refer to Gretzky as perhaps the greatest hockey player of all time, be used only to refer to Donald J. Trump.

Bill O’Reilly sits down with Jon Stewart, despite their differing ideologies, to discuss his new book “Confronting the Presidents.” The two talk about political fanaticism following the assassination attempt against Donald Trump, whether we’re experiencing a unique time of polarization, the danger of monetizing anger and hate speech, and debating the real-life consequences of the 2024 election in good faith.

Bill Maher called on stand-up comic Louis C.K. to be allowed to return to mainstream entertainment after his sexual misconduct scandal during the height of the #MeToo movement.

"Isn’t it time everyone just went: ‘OK, It wasn’t a cool thing to do, but it’s been long enough and welcome back.’ Enough!" Maher said on a new episode of his podcast, "Club Random."

"I mean for Christ’s sake, it’s not the end of the world," Maher told comedian Bill Burr in a conversation on cancel culture.

The Kendrick Lamar vs. Drake feud — already dubbed the biggest beef in recent rap history â€” is a story of two successful individuals, who have large egos, fed up with one another.

Sound familiar?

Beefs — both personal and policy-based, some of which can take a petty turn — are a tale as old as time on Capitol Hill, where clashes between some of the country’s most prominent public figures, fueled by uber self confidence and a strong determination to achieve legislative goals, frequently erupt.

Jon Stewart said President Biden is too old for the job.

“I know liberals say, ‘Don’t say Joe Biden is old’ — don’t say what people see with their own eyes! You can say it, he can’t hear us,” Stewart said during a comedy performance in Los Angeles that was streamed on Netflix.

“I know you know how f—ing old he is, and I know you don’t want to say it because [former President Donald] Trump is so scary, but he’s so f—ing old
when you watch him on television, you’re nervous, aren’t ya?” said the host of “The Daily Show.”

Just five days after surviving a 12-inning battle in a series sweep of Morgan County, the Calvary Day baseball team played in another marathon doubleheader on Saturday against visiting Dawson County at Grayson Stadium. A storm delayed the first game for a few hours before the Cavs won 7-3, they then poured it on in an 11-3 victory in the second game for their third sweep of the playoffs. Calvary Day improved to 23-5 on the season and reached the state semifinals for the first time since 2016. The Cavs...
