Tech mogul and top White House advisor Elon Musk donated more than $291 million to Republican candidates, political action committees and other outside spending organizations in the 2024 election cycle. While he was, by far, the biggest political donor, he was not the only person to contribute more than $100 million, according to analysis by OpenSecrets. 

Al Jazeera has become one of the most widely recognized international news agencies. Though some perceive Al Jazeera to be state media controlled by Qatar, the situation is more nuanced.

By imposing the largest tax increases on international imports in more than a century, and by the sheer unpredictability and haphazardness of the decision-making process, Trump has undermined consumer, business, and investor confidence to cause one of the most significant stock market corrections in history—caused not by war, natural disaster, or pandemic, but by the capriciousness of a single political leader.
